Our shoe factory was founded in 1987, right around the time when small and medium-sized enterprises started to grow rapidly in Marche’s area and some of them were destined to become important brands, representing the fashion excellence of Made in Italy.

I joined the company at the age of 11 years old and, driven by the love and passion for this job, I acquired the skills and learned the art of shoe manufacturing from the greatest artisans of that time.

In those years, almost everyone had his workshop downstairs and after ten years of partnership with my brother, I decided to create my own family project. I like to call it that because we were and we are now a big family, bound by the same passion and goals.

As I said, those were the years of the economic boom and the first company we worked with was the Alberto Guardiani factory, with which we established an excellent relationship that lasted several years; later other brands like Prada, Dolce&Gabbana, and now Officine Creative decided to trust in our job.

Over the years, we moved from a males-only production to the creation of trendy women’s shoes. According to customer’s requests, we also refined the finishing and polishing techniques.

Our strengths are the experience, the passion, and the craftsmanship of our shoes. We create only handmade shoes and the artisan’s hands controls every step of the production to guarantee trendy and comfortable shoes.

MANUFACTURING

We carry out processing techniques such as Blake-rapid, Ideal, and slip lasting.

The Blake-rapid is an old and precious technique and consists of two stages: the first Blake (inner seam) joins the upper, insole, lining, and midsole . The second external seam ( Rapid ) binds the midsole to an additional layer of leather, which forms the final bottom of the shoe.

The Ideal technique consists of turning the border of the shoe uppers outwards, over the last, and then glued and pressed onto the midsole; This is then attached to the outsole using stitching that runs around the outside of the shoe, by using a machine called “rapid”. This process gives shoes comfort, softness, and flexibility.

The slip lasting gives the shoe the greatest flexibility and lightweight as it avoids any rigid component used in other types of construction. It consists in the realization of a lining, which is sewn around the last just like a sachet. It is normally stretched with a hated and hand beating last to obtain the right form. Breathable padded material is inserted between the sole and the last and then the lining and insole are stitched onto the upper.
